About the Curator
Faye is the creator behind the TikTok account @literarylesbian. They help their over 100,000 followers find great and representative books in the young adult and LGBTQ+ genres.
Whether I’m talking about queer representation or just recommending my favorite books, I’ve taken to TikTok to voice my thoughts. Over the course of the year I’ve gained over a hundred thousand followers on my account @literarylesbian. The goal of my account has always been to help younger readers find the representation they need, as I didn’t get the same when I was their age. This mindset is reflected in my picks in the young adult and LGBTQ+ genre.

Whether it’s the enemies-to-lovers angst, edge-of-your-seat slow burn, adorable banter, unique world-building, or the unique thrill of seeing someone learn how to love for the first time — all that, and including the fact that it’s sapphic — “Crier’s War” by Nina Varela has everything a reader could want.
