“In the beginning the book was hard to come into. The writing just wasn't that fast paced but I did enjoy the storyline. Cardan was just amazing and I totally fell in love with him. I also loved Jude she is a fierceful young woman who is afraid but still pushen through. I loved the fact that eventho she witnessed a lot of murder she still is full of love for others. “I really liked this story but it wasn’t what I was expecting! I thought it would be more of a magical romance but it had a lot of politics and was pretty dark. Even though it wasn’t what I went into thinking it would be it was still interesting and action-packed. The one thing I didn’t like about it is that it just threw you into the story and didn’t really describe everything which made it really hard to picture the world because they would just say a name of a creature but wouldn’t describe it”Reviewed in:On the Same Page Book Club📚

“I really liked this book, like REALLY. I was really pleasantly surprised by how much the book relies on the actual plot and not the romance everyone has been talking about. Because I didn’t like the romance, if you can even call it that. I’m just saying this IS an enemies to lovers book we all know that. So we already know A- the enemies part, and C- the lovers part, so the author has to give us B-the mutual pinning and bonding time so that we can actually understand and believe the romance.”Descriptive writingFast-pacedBeautiful setting
