Publisher Description

Take control. Feel the rush. Explore your fantasies.

In this red-hot scorcher from
New York Times bestselling author Katee Robert, Trish Livingston meets her unlikely match in her brother’s best friend, the gorgeous Cameron O’Clery. They’re complete opposites—but that only makes the temptation hotter! Don’t miss the final instalment of the Make Me series.

Trish Livingston desperately needs cash, so when her brother offers her a job while he’s on paternity leave, she snaps it up. She’s even willing to put up with his best friend and business partner, the notoriously grumpy Cameron O’Clery—especially when she finds out he’s very easy on the eyes.

Cameron hates people: especially peppy, happy people like Trish. He avoids her at all costs, until a raunchy late-night encounter in an elevator shows him that there’s a fine line between hate and lust. Cameron knows he’s broken the rules—and is resolved to keep his distance from her. Will he be able to keep his hands off her?

Step into stories of provocative romance where sexual fantasies come true. Let your inhibitions run wild with Harlequin Dare.

“The fun thing about being in a book club is that you get books you yourself would not otherwise read. Then you discover that you are reading a series but the books do not come in the right order. This book is part 4 of this book series. Has part 2 left. Let's see when it comes. The book is good. Likes that it takes place in two different cities. The text is good and also translation in my opinion. Hope this part 2 is as good as the other three books in this book series.”
“I didn't realize going in that this was the fourth book in a series by new to me author Katee Robert, but it can definitely be read as a stand alone. This is also my first read from the Harlequin Dare line, which based on this read is spicier than the traditional Harlequin titles I'm used to. For me this book was just okay. It was a very quick read and the entire story only spanned a couple of weeks so the relationship went from zero to sixty in no time. I feel like the love story was both really simple, but also more complicated than it needed to be all at the same time. Trish is a struggling recent college grad who can't find a job in her field. To get her out of her parent's house, her brother offers her a job at his cyber security firm while he is out on paternity leave. Enter Cameron, brother's gruff best friend and business partner. There is instalust the moment they set eyes on each other, but the whole employee/boss, best friend's little sister situation makes them decide to keep their hands off. That lasts for about five minutes. I'm all for good sex scenes in books, and these were pretty good, but I didn't feel as though there was enough development of the characters, their feelings, or their relationship. In fact, both Trish and Cameron wonder through out the book if their relationship was being held together by all the hot sex. I don't think there was enough getting to know you, and the issues that they did discuss were always about Trish and quite honestly she started to come off as whiny. I felt like Cameron was still unknown to me by the end of the book, and to Trish for that matter. That's why I had an issue with the massive declaration at the end. No spoilers but drastic life changes were made for a relationship that had lasted less than a month. I think it could have ended with an acceptable happy for now, but instead it was a HEA that just wasn't believable for me..”
