A TikTok sensation! Sparks fly when a competitive figure skater and hockey team captain are forced to share a rink.

Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA. It looks like everything is going according to plan when she gets a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills and lands a place on their competitive figure skating team.

Nothing will stand in her way, not even the captain of the hockey team, Nate Hawkins.

Nate’s focus as team captain is on keeping his team on the ice. Which is tricky when a facilities mishap means they are forced to share a rink with the figure skating team—including Anastasia, who clearly can’t stand him.

But when Anastasia’s skating partner faces an uncertain future, she may have to look to Nate to take her shot.

Sparks fly, but Anastasia isn’t worried…because she could never like a hockey player, right?

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“This book was honestly a nice break from the more darker tones of books I have read in the past. It was light and funny with spice which made it an easy read. The main character (one of them) had migraines which is a feature I understand and can relate to and due to the fact I’ve never seen that in a story it was a personal plus for me. I liked the touching on her ED and the way it was handled and portrayed in a way I personally relate to as well.”

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“While romance isn’t my favorite genre, and this isn’t my favorite romance book, I genuinely enjoyed this. Read it all in a day. It was cute and I loved the characters, but not the read I’m going to think about later.”

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“This was a decent book. I liked the characters along with the little character development. I liked the storyline and even the real life issues they threw in such as EDs,therapy, etc. I also loved the girls read book teasers. I love when booktok is implicated into books. Not to mention Nathan is definitely on my book boyfriend list. I loved him, he was truly written by a woman. Even so, I feel like this book was excessively long and I got a bit irritated with some of the characters. Good Overall”

Expressionless Face“This was not my jam. I was really excited to read it for the promise of enemies to figureskater makes prohockey player look like a giraffe in rollerblades trying to stand up for the first time to lovers but as someone else said it was more of a fuck buddies situation. The plot as a whole felt thin like it was just trying to tick popular tropes off a checklist, it was written with less consistency than unedited fanfic I’ve read and a lot of character quirks and dialogue felt forced/ unnecessary.”

About Hannah Grace

Hannah Grace is an English self-labeled “fluffy comfort book” author, writing predominantly new adult and contemporary romance from her home in Manchester, England. When she’s not describing everyone’s eyes ten-thousand times a chapter, accidentally giving multiple characters the same name, or using English sayings that no one understands in her American books, you can find her hanging out with her husband and two dogs, Pig and Bear.
