When you can’t beat the odds, change the game.

Kaz Brekker and his crew have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn't think they'd survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they're right back to fighting for their lives. Double-crossed and badly weakened, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz's cunning and test the team's fragile loyalties. Slightly Smiling Face“I find myself with not much to say because it was such a great ride. Each main character wormed their way into my heart and became my favorite. I know it's been said before but this duology is SO MUCH BETTER than the previous Grisha books, it doesn't even compare. Loved it.”

Loudly Crying Face“I think I’ve settled on a 4.75 for this book. I think it’s equal to six of crows in the beginning I felt six of crows was better and for a fair majority of the book I felt that way, but I think upon reflection I loved them both just as equally, and this one did make me cry twice. I’m gonna miss his character so much.”

Surprised Face with Open Mouth“This book was a thrilling follow up to it’s predecessor, Six of Crows. I love how this series gives the readers what we think is Kaz and the gang’s plan, but we’re actually left in the dark 80% of the time. It keeps me on my toes and creates a rollercoaster of emotions. I’ve grown to love these characters and they’ll be missed!”
